We should all consider each other as human beings, and we should respect each other. (Malala Yousafzai)

My medical journey began in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. After graduating, I stayed around this area for several years, completing GP training and starting a family. Originally from Yorkshire, I moved back there with my family, spending 8 years working there as a GP before relocating to Gisborne, New Zealand in 2018.

Working at Hospice Tairāwhiti is a great privilege for me. It allows me to develop my skills in palliative care, an area I have always been interested in. Visiting whānau in their homes brings amazing insights, allowing us to provide truly holistic care.
