The Fundamentals of Palliative Care is a nationally recognized programme developed by Hospice NZ.  It is a series of learning packages designed for any health care worker – registered and non-registered staff – who are caring for people with a palliative care need.  Participants can complete the full series of packages or individual packages if there are specific areas of interest.  This year the complete series will be covered in a two day workshop on 25 and 26 May.  In addition, the following topics will be covered in two hour sessions, from 10am-12pm in the Poutama Room:
