There is only one day for dying, the rest are for living.

I was born and raised in Gisborne and completed my nursing training at Cook Hospital in 1982. Since graduating I have worked as a registered nurse in a variety of roles both here and in Australia. My clinical experience covers hospital and community nursing and includes three years in a home for disabled children and teenagers some of whom required palliative care. Most recently I worked in the Women's Health Service at Hauora Tairāwhiti. My move to a Community Hospice Nurse role in 2022 feels like a return to the essence of nursing.
