Born and bred in Gisborne, I began my nursing career in 1987 training as an Enrolled Nurse, completed my nursing degree in 2004. Since then I have worked at Three Rivers Medical as a practice nurse.
I have been passionate about hospice for a long time and in 2018 was happy to undertake part time employment with hospice, I continue to work part time as a practice nurse at Three Rivers medical, and am fortunate to say that these jobs compliment each other. In 2019 I completed the certificate in palliative care.
