An empty shop window on is becoming a unique exhibition space.
Hospice Tairāwhiti is inviting artists and creatives to exhibit their art in this Peel Street window. A fabulous chance to showcase your work in the heart of Gisborne City.
Create an exhibition that highlights your work and catches the attention of people passing by, while also – and here’s the catch – allowing the natural light to continue shining through to the Hospice Shop sorting room behind it.
Each exhibition will run for two months with installation on the 10th of every second month. Your work will need to be suitable to remain safely installed within the window for the duration – without access during the exhibition period.
Art sales are to be handled directly by the artist. No commission. Just one affordable contribution that goes directly towards supporting Hospice Tairāwhiti.
Raising funds for Hospice Tairāwhiti
Exhibiting artists will be encouraged to run their own raffle or silent auction alongside their exhibition. Helping to raise funds for Hospice Tairāwhiti, while creating a little bit of extra attention to their window exhibition.
