An exciting opportunity to lead Hospice Tairāwhiti’s 2027 Corporate Charity Auction
Hospice Tairāwhiti’s flagship fundraising event is its Corporate Charity Auction. It is a much-loved event on the local calendar and an important part of Hospice Tairāwhiti’s fundraising programme. With around 200 guests each time, the event brings together the Tairāwhiti business community, sponsors and supporters for a memorable evening of connection, generosity, great company and plenty of friendly competition. The 2027 Corporate Charity Auction will help generate vital income that supports Hospice Tairāwhiti to deliver its free palliative care services across the region.
To help deliver the 2027 event, Hospice Tairāwhiti is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the auction, creating a special evening in support of Hospice Tairāwhiti.
The opportunity calls for an experienced event professional or organisation with a strong track record in corporate events, fundraising and sponsorship, along with strong connections across the Tairāwhiti business and community sector.
Working alongside the Hospice Tairāwhiti team, the Event Manager will create and deliver an engaging event that reflects the organisation’s values and strong community focus. Helping to shape the event from concept through to delivery, including event design, sponsorship and fundraising, auction item procurement, supplier coordination, marketing, ticket sales, logistics and event delivery.
