Born in Gisborne and raised in Tolaga Bay (Uawa), I started as a caregiver for Gisborne CCS while studying social work. I then worked as a social worker at Te Hapara Whānau Aroha Centre before pursuing nursing, graduating as an RN in 2017. I worked as a RN/Caregiver at Health Care New Zealand and Beetham HealthCare, where I became Clinical Nursing Manager. Now, I’m excited to begin my journey as a Community Hospice Nurse, focusing on palliative care for whānau/families in our rural community.
