I was born in Hastings and raised in Te Araroa, East Cape. I grew up attending the local Kohanga Reo, Area Schools and Kura Kaupapa Māori, before attending Hukarere Māori Girls’ College in Napier.
After spending time in both Hawkes Bay and Auckland, I moved back to Te Tairāwhiti in late 2015. First joining Hospice in May 2017, I left in early 2021 for a short period, before returning mid 2024 in both an Administrative and Cultural support role.
Hospice has played a crucial role in my whānau numerous times and being able to be a part of the team and help towards making a difference for our patients and their whānau is something I am passionate about.
