I joined Hospice Tairāwhiti in 2025 as a Hospice Nurse – Rural Focus.
Born in Gisborne, I was raised in a beautiful rural settlement called Patutahi. I moved to Hawkes Bay in 2017 where I completed my Nursing degree. I have a background in Aged Care and now I have moved home to be closer to my whānau.
In Aged Care I have nursed and supported patients and their families through Palliative Care. In this role, I am able to bring those skills as well as undertake further study to improve my understanding and knowledge of Palliative Care to be able to give back to the Community.
