Hospice Doctor
MBChB, FRNZCGP, PGDipHSc (Palliative Care)
I was born and raised in England and then trained as a GP in Scotland. I moved from Edinburgh to Gisborne in 2015 and I have worked since then as a GP at The Doctors Te Whare Hapara. During this time I have been studying alongside the hospice team at the University of Auckland and I have since completed my diploma in palliative care. I joined the hospice team as a hospice doctor in October 2020. I feel very lucky to be able to work alongside the wonderful team who work at hospice and to be able to incorporate my experience at hospice with my ongoing role as a GP.
