Assistant Shop Manager
I was born and raised right here in Tairāwhiti. When my husband and I moved back here after studying I realised I wanted to build my career in retail. After lots of hard work and support from my whānau I became the assistant manager and then manager at 2 large retail stores.
In 2022 I had my daughter and realised spending time with her was important. So I was super happy and grateful to join the Hospice Tairāwhiti Shop team in November 2023 working part-time hours. I love working with the staff and the volunteers and all their kindness they bring to work every day. No two days are the same but no matter what I enjoy coming to work and always leave with a smile.
