Kathleen Labrado - Hospice Nurse
I come from tropical islands of the Philippines and studied Nursing at Cebu Doctors' University where I later became a member of the faculty of the College of Nursing. I taught the Fundamentals and Maternal and Child Nursing for 5 years and was also exposed to the Delivery Room and OB Ward. I attained my Masters Degree in Nursing Major in Maternal and Child Nursing from the same school.
I came to New Zealand in 2013 and worked as a nurse at a resthome for 2 years where I was greatly exposed to Palliative Care. I became very interested in this field and decided to join the team in 2015.
I am excited to be part of the Hospice family and truly honored to be of service to the people of the Tairawhiti region.
