Hospice Awareness Week is an opportunity to profile and celebrate the services that hospices provide in their local communities, and address misconceptions that people may have around hospice care.
We are kicking off Hospice Awareness Week 2021 with our traditional feature supplement in the Gisborne Herald. You can download and view a copy here.
Our Pop-Up Cafe will be operating at the Hospice Shop, 66 Peel Street, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm. Make sure you get down there to enjoy barista made coffee and home baking made by our lovely volunteers.
If you are interested in learning more about volunteering for Hospice Tairāwhiti we are hosting a Cuppa and Chat evening at the Hospice Shop, on Wednesday 19th May, 5.30pm.
