Girls' Day Out Is Back

It’s back ladies! Take a day off, leave the kids at home and enjoy a solid dose of pampering at Hospice Tairawhiti Girls’ Day Out.  Tickets are now on sale for this sell-out annual event which to be held at Illminster Intermediate on 24 May. The entry ticket includes two free pamper sessions, a complimentary glass of Lindauer Summer sparkling wine, and a goodie bag filled with an incredible array of products valued at approximately $100.

Beauty therapists have all volunteered their time to provide services to event attendees, including massage, reflexology, tinting, waxing, facials, make up, cranial therapy, manicures, and even tattoos and piercings for the more adventurous event goer.

Local businesswoman and event ambassador Bronwyn Kay will MC the event, which is packed with entertainment and activities including cupcake decorating, cooking and fitness demonstrations, trailer backing and car tyre changing, and a highly entertaining Man Panel which will answer all those questions women have never been brave enough to ask a man!

“Girls’ Day Out is one of those events that’s such good fun for the women in our community, and Hospice is a charity that really resonates with so many people,” says Bronwyn.

A live auction will add another exciting element to the day with items including jewellery, magazine subscriptions, a coffee machine, art, premium accommodation packages, and hair and beauty vouchers.

Hospice Tairawhiti General Manager, Barbara Grout, is thrilled by the amount of support Girls’ Day Out is receiving from local and national business. “We have been overwhelmed by support from sponsors and the local business community, which has enabled us to create another stellar event this year,” says Barbara.

Tickets are $35 from Bronwyn Kay Agency, Little Hair Shop, and Hospice Shop from 6 May 2015.
