It’s back again…the biennial charity auction to raise funds for Hospice Tairāwhiti’s new building. This time though, it is the grand finale. It’s the big push to hopefully raise the final money required for our new fit-for-purpose premises.

Our three previous Celebrate Gisborne events have already raised $170,000 for the capital fund and we’re calling on you one last time to help us get this vital project over the line.

Chef Bryn Lewis is again plying his fantastic gastronomic talents to create a menu that will titillate taste buds with the very best our region has to offer. Bryn has a passion for food that’s well known in foodie circles. He loves to incorporate customary herbs and plants that add a whole new dimension to experiencing the delicacies of Tairāwhiti. He works closely with local wineries to ensure a match made in heaven between food and wine.

This year we will hold Celebrate – The Grand Finale, at Te Poho-o-Rawiri Marae. It’s the perfect fit for an organisation that is so entrenched in the community and is there for everyone – regardless of race or culture.

Celebrate is the ideal opportunity for businesses to toast their own successes, say thank you to clients, staff and others by hosting them at what promises to be another very special evening.

We know her and love her as our own, and once again, Jackie Clarke will MC the evening. She’s a singer and all-round star of the stage with pizazz to boot and for the Grand Finale we are bringing in an extra surprise…the only clue is that there will be double the fun.

And let’s not forget THE auction – a bucket list that will create memories and experiences to share with family and friends.
